The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of short stories about Dr. John Watson, the narrator, and the consulting detective Sherlock Holmes, the protagonist. Sherlock Holmes is a detective with extraordinary talents in deduction and observation. The twelve stories in this connection first appeared in The Strand Magazine. Together, Watson and Holmes solve crimes and mysteries. This collection was first published in October 1892.
