We have here two stages of motion. We assume that the ball rolls without friction in both stages. In the first stage, the ball starts from rest and speeds up down the inclined due to its weight component. In the second stage, the ball moves up the inclined but slows down due to its weight component. In this case, we chose the original point (at which $S_0=0$) is at its start point when released from the top of the inclined. We also chose left to be our positive direction.
