For an angular quantum number ‘$l$’ , the magnetic quantum number $m_{l}$ can have values ranging from - $l$ through zero to +$l$ . $n$ = 5 Possible values of $l$ are = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. Where 0,1, 2, 3, 4 represents s, p, d, f, and g orbitals respectively.
