Foci: $(0,-3), (0,3)$ and Vertices: $(0,1)$ and $(0,-1)$ We are given that $ c=3; a=1$` Since $ c^2=a^2+b^2$ so, $ b^2=c^2-a^2=9-1=8$ Thus, the equation for hyperbola is: $\dfrac{y^2}{1}-\dfrac{x^2}{8}=1$
