McMap
Spurlock shows us a map of Manhattan, where there are more McDonald's restaurants per square mile than anywhere else in the world. The imagery shows the true nature of the availability of the food that he tells is is killing us slowly day to day.
Play Palace
We see imagery of a McDonald's marketing push that seeks to bring the children to their restaurants for birthday parties, and to play in the play palaces that are attached to the restaurant. The imagery shows the alarming fact that McDonald's as a business is seeking children at such a young age that recovering from their weight gains and health issues are far harder to overcome.
A Little Slice of Heaven
Morgan gets a double quarter pounder with a super sized french fry. He calls is a little slice of heaven as he begins. Fifteen minutes later he is laid out, another seven minutes go by before he vomits. The imagery shows us the immediate effect of eating just one meal for someone who doesn't regularly consume this kind of food and an immediate understanding of long term effects.
Such a Chore
Spurlock shows an image of a woman driving a motorized scooter in order to get around a shopping center. The imagery shows us that our society has become so lazy that we are incapable of even walking in order to get around in our everyday lives. That our obesity has consumed us to the degree that we no longer seek to be part of the solution, but rather find another alternative to not having to fix anything, but rather ignore the problem.
