She is pursued by her ex-boyfriend, Marc, to reunite with her family, the Pride, so that she can prepare to one day take over the role of the Alpha. However, along the way, Faythe develops feelings for a close friend, Jace, resulting in a conflict in her feelings for Marc.
The storyline received mixed reviews from readers on the book review site, Goodreads, averaging at a score of 3.78/5. The book is succeeded by Rogue, where Faythe’s relationship with her parents and Marc is put to the test once again.
