From one of the most prominent authors of today, Stardust is another Neil Gaiman’s successful fantasy novel set in the 19th century in meadows of England. The novel was also adapted into a successful movie in the year 2007.
The novel’s protagonist is a young man called Tristan living in a small village called Wall, and who is hopelessly in love with a young woman called Victoria. That love is what sparks his adventure beyond the wall, promising the young lady to retrieve a token of his love.
The novel is followed up with illustrations by the famous American illustrator Charles Vess. The graphic novel portrays the common themes of love, family, courage and freedom along with a supernatural setting and imagery.
