    History of Racism KWL

    Kind of Activity:

    Collaborative Writing

    Objective:

    Students will identify what they know and what they do not know about the topic of the unit.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.11-12.2

    Structure:

    In this activity, students will create a KWL chart to show what they know and what they want to know about the history of racist ideas. Students can complete this activity either before they read any of Stamped from the Beginning or after they have read just the Prologue.
