To get a sense of what Bombay really looks like and compare Roberts' descriptions to real-life images

Structure:
At the beginning of the novel, Lin experiences Bombay for the first time. Ask students as a full class to list places and sights in Bombay that Lin references in the first and second chapters of the book, whether it's specific (Colaba, Leopold's, etc.) or vague (slums by the airport, cigarette stalls, etc.). Write the places and sights on the board. Then, ask each student to make a Pinterest board themed around Bombay...
