Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002 Film) Irony

Moodoo

Moodoo is an aborigine man from the Australian Outback. Ironically, he's employed by the British in order to find the three girls who are half aborigine half British. Essentially, he's being paid to hunt after his own kind.

Escape

The three girls are able to escape, but ironically are captured and brought back. Molly escapes again, and in a horrible twist of irony her child is kidnapped as well and she never sees her again.

Gracie and Daisy

Molly is ready to escape and is getting Gracie and Daisy ready to go with her. Ironically, her sister and cousin want to say in the camp because they like it and Molly has to demand they go with them.

Mother

Molly, Daisy and Gracie's mothers have raised them, given life to them. However, ironically, government policy mandates that the children belong to the state and not to their family and are able to strip the girls from their mothers.

Rabbit-Proof Fence

Molly has decided to go along the rabbit-proof fence in order escape from the men from the camp. Ironically, she learns from an outback man that they are on the wrong fence, and in more irony the white man is willing to help them find their way to the right fence.
