Students will get to grips with the complex character interactions by creating a family tree.

Structure:

The interactions between the various families of Ruby are important, and also somewhat difficult to understand since there are so many characters. In this activity, students will take up Anna's project, and, to the best of their ability, create a multi-family tree of all of the characters known in the novel.
