Most of the activities (with perhaps the exception of Day One’s research activity) that call for the use of individual computers could be adapted to use only a few computers in a group-work arrangement or a single computer in a room with projection capabilities.

In the Day One activity, "Researching Victorian England," students will need individual computers to access The Victorian Web to explore and conduct research.

In the Day Two activity, “The Serial Novel,” students will need individual computers to view the digital copy of the first installment of North and South in Household Words.
