Ruth Ginsburg
Ginsburg was a women’s right’s activist and the second female Justice at the Supreme Courts of the United States. She is one of the most notable figures in the US socio-political scene, having been successful in prominent cases such as, Moritz v. Commissioner (1972), Frontiero v. Richardson (1973), Weinberger v. Wiesenfeld (1975) and United States v. Virginia (1996) being some of her more prominent cases.
Gloria Steinem
Gloria Marie Steinem is an American feminist and political activist who was a key figure in the American feminist movement in the 1960s & 1970s. Her 1969 "After Black Power, Women's Liberation" article led to national recognition and allowed her to successfully campaign for the Equal Rights Amendment in 1970. She was an influence on Ginsburg’s own career and a feminist icon to look up to.
Sandra Day O’Connor
Sandra Day O’Connor was the first female Justice of the Supreme Courts of the United States. She was involved in the rulings of landmark cases such as, Grutter v. Bollinger (2003) and Hamdi v. Rumsfeld (2004) and was a big source of inspiration to Ginsburg as she delved into the legal sector.
