- In the Day 1 activity "Representing Character," students will either do an image search online or use software or other online tools to develop an original (digital) image. They can also use a template they locate online for their captioned illustrations.

- In the Day 2 activity “Framing Meaning,” students will read online about different possible relationships between words and images in a graphic-novel frame. In the Day 2 activity “Tracking Clues,” students will create their own graphic organizers, which they can do using an online tool.
