    Objective:

    Students will be able to analyze characters and understand their development

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.9-10.3

    Structure:

    Ask students how Medea has developed over the course of the play thus far. How has she changed since the Nurse's early descriptions of her? Students may point out that Medea’s rage has increased, that the audience sees her manipulating men and pulling strings, that she has moved from scorned woman to aspiring murderess.
