    Objective:

    Students will be able to practice close reading and understand the nuances of text and how body language plays a role in how words are interpreted

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.2; CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.5

    Structure:

    Have students look at the scene in which King Creon and Medea are talking. Assign select students specific roles (someone to be Medea and someone else to be King Creon) and have them read the lines aloud.
