Rustem is the only doctor with the skills and experience to handle the King's medical problem, and he has traveled from the Eastern part of the empire. After finishing his greatest assignment, Rustem is shocked to realize that the King forces him to undertake another most dangerous task he had never thought of. The irony is that Rustem is now abandoning his work as a doctor to become a spy in Sarantine and report directly to the King. Rustem knows nothing about spying but is forced to undertake the task. The work is very dangerous, but Rustem has no option because he will be killed if he refuses.
