Ironically, the four women attempted to defeat the other democrats who are described as more experienced in politics. People would think they were going to lose because they are women. Actually, they knocked down the house and emerged winners.

AOC is a working-class democrat who stood up against the untouchable cooperate backed leaders. She campaigned through social media and a direct approach that erased barriers. Her rivals were forced to eat a humble pie and take a lesson in street politics.

The documentary tries to show a good side of politics prevalent with socialism. This is ironic because in this day and time politics are corrupt and go in hand with capitalism. Socialism is easier said than done.
The Irony of Applying Laws
Cortez notes that everybody is being held to higher ethical standards than the president. Apparently, there are almost no laws that apply to the president. Cortez realizes that when she can be considered a bad guy and that is illegal, it is easier for the president to be the same and not considered illegal.
The Situational Irony of Complaints
Cortez complains about student loan payments, yet she got such a low demand degree that she had to work as a bartender. Her reason that she graduated in a bad economy is not satisfactory.
