"Are we good?"
Paul asks this question to Will when he has decided to take him to find his family. The question is simple but deep. Paul has just beat and tied Will up for days, and is attempting to help the stranger; however, he doesn't want Will to turn on him for what he's done. Will tells him they are good and that he understands his need to protect his family.
"You're positive that the door was open?"
Will says this to Travis after Stanley the dog returns bloodied to the house. Travis tells everyone that he found Andrew in another room and that the front door was open. It creates a mystery as to who opened the door and why, and thus creating a divide between the families from this point forward.
"I'm just going to turn through a few things. When we go out during the day we like to stick to groups of two, just for safety. The red door, it's the only way in and out of the house. That stays closed and locked all the time. I have the keys, this is the only set."
Paul is laying down the rules of the house with Will, Kim, and Andrew so that everyone is on the same page for the sake of keeping everyone safe and accountable while they are living together.
