Structure:

Although the narrator has now accepted from the Brotherhood a job so comprehensive that it seems it will take over his life, neither he nor we quite understand what the Brotherhood is. Discuss with students the evidence about the Brotherhood we have seen so far. What do we know is true about the organization? What remains mysterious?
