Presentations: 1950s America

Objective:

The students will use a multimedia presentation to give the novel's setting and events a historical context.

Structure:

Presentation (25-30 minutes)

The groups will present their findings on their research topic.

Presentations should include:

· A narrative summary of the most important historical events of that period, as well as context to understand the contributing factors causing those events
· A timeline of significant events that occurred during the period
· At least one quote from a primary source (someone who...
