Getting to Maybe Background

Getting to Maybe Background

Written by professors Jeremy R. Paul and Richard Michael Fischel, the book “Getting to Maybe” serves as a guide for confused law students, and deals with the issues of uncertainty when it comes to exams and questions that seemingly could have more than one answer. As the title predicts the purpose of the book is to help with the ambiguity of the law situations when writing an exam and getting to the close “maybe” answer, as the nature of the law question don’t have a one “set” answer.

The book’s purpose is also to try and ease the uncertainty of the students and try to explain where that uncertainty comes from. The lighthearted approach in the book also is helpful, especially for beginners, who aren’t yet comfortable with the “legal” language.
