The imagery of the Dynamos
The author uses dynamos to depict the sense of hearing to readers. The author writes, "The silence was broken only by the whine of the dynamos dying to an idle burr. The author continues to write, "The dynamos whined noisily, and then the launcher was empty." Therefore, the description of the dynamos engages readers to listen to what is taking place keenly.
Imagery of Sight
The imagery of sight is depicted when Ackerman sees Loftus appearing and disappearing. The author writes, “Loft disappeared. A moment later, Ackerman could see him near a personnel carrier.
