Similarly, one of the Ten Commandments is that killing a human being is a sin. Therefore, abortion is considered a sin because it involves killing a baby who has been conceived.

Cedar is a symbol of a woman's strength and courage. Cedar is pregnant, and she wants to take control of her body. However, she is captured by UPS and put under detention to ensure that she delivers the baby without aborting. However, Cedar and her friend Tia do not want to be controlled on what to do with their pregnancies. Cedar and Tia kill the nurse in charge, and they run away to secure their freedom.
The Democrats as a symbol of people’s interests
The Democrats symbolize people's interests and views on abortion. According to the Democrats, women must be given the freedom of having independence over their bodies. For instance, a woman can abort if she mistakenly gets pregnant. Similarly, if the pregnancy endangers the mother's life, the law proposes that she should consider abortion. The Democrats have massive support from the people, but the religious organizations are against the move.

The detention facility where Cedar and her friend Tia are detained represents the oppression of women. All the pregnant women are put in a detention facility to ensure that they give birth safely. The other objective of the detention facility is to ensure that no woman aborts her child under whatever circumstance. Paradoxically, the UPS facility fails to comprehend that there are women who are pregnant due to rape and other unwanted circumstances. Such women want to decide whether they want to give birth or terminate the pregnancy.
