Fifty Shades Freed Background

Fifty Shades Freed Background

Fifty Shades Freed is the third and final book of the Fifty Shades trilogy by E.L. James. Fifty Shades follows the relationship of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. Christian introduces to Anastasia to the world of BDSM. The novel picks up after Ana and Christian’s honeymoon in Europe. Ana herself knew that loving Christian was going to bring her challenges, so Ana has to learn how to share Christian’s eccentric lifestyle without sacrificing who she is.

Fifty Shades Freed was published as an eBook and a print on demand paperback on January 2012. Thanks to word of mouth recommendation, the book became a phenomenon selling millions of copies. Later, the Fifty Shades trilogy was re-released in April 2012 worldwide on bookstores.

On August 1, 2012, Amazon announced that they had sold more copies of Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy than the entire Harry Potter series, making E.L. James the best-selling author, replacing J.K. Rowling.

The film adaptation of Fifty Shades Freed is expected to premiere on February 9, 2018, with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan returning to their roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.
