Despite the author’s age, the novel has a successful beginning, but not enough equivalent continuation. The book does not become weaker or less interesting. At the beginning, the respectful-admired attitude to the mythological characters (dragons, elves, gnomes) pleases. The novel is in the spirit of “The Lord of the Rings”.

In addition, the universe, described on the pages of “Eragon”, is a truly wonderful place. The novel simply teems with various descriptions – skillfully created characters, the atmospheric nature and, of course, those same fairy-tale creatures, without which it is already difficult to imagine fantasy. In addition, there are perfectly described the relationship between the main characters, all their feelings and emotions – the book becomes a magical box, which can move the reader to another unusual and amazing world, where you stand beside the heroes, hear them and see them, experience incredible adventures with them. Throughout the novel, there is a clear ideology of the author. Among the magic, it is hard not to notice many life lessons that can give a new life after despondency, give hope and make you not give up despite your troubles.
The book has everything, including an interesting protagonist, who is not a superhero, because he learns, doubts the decisions that he made and sometimes he is frankly afraid and does not know what to do. Such heroes are a rarity. Eragon wins sympathy at once. He teaches readers to be courageous and do brave deeds. Eragon’s dragon Saphira shows her devotion and hope. She is also very bold.
This book will make an incredible impression, especially when you read it in childhood. Perhaps it has its disadvantages, but do not try to find them. The book will give many pleasant sensations, emotions and a real magic after reading. This kind and enchanting book, which is about love, friendship and incredible adventures , will make readers’ life better, because the real life is not as wonderful and bright as the book demonstrates.
