Students will be introduced to the concept of modernism and consider its applicability to Dubliners

Structure:

Have students read the Introduction from The Cambridge Introduction to Modernism (2007). After they finish reading, lead a class discussion on the chapter and the ways in which Dubliners is or is not a modernist work of fiction.
