Samantha
Samantha is the protagonist in the novel. Her mother died when she was 13 years old. Samantha is a lonely character because she finds her father missing whenever she returns home from college. The father is always on the run from creditors pursuing him. The only friend who always keeps Samantha Company is Ava. Samantha and Ava hate the Bunnies in college because they are evil. Later, Samantha receives an invitation to attend the literary party organized by the Bunnies. She attends despite betraying her friend, Ava. Unfortunately, the Bunnies drag Samantha and recruit her in their bizarre ritual, which involves turning rabbits into hybrid men. Fortunately, at last, Ava rescues Samantha.
Ava
Ava is Samantha's only friend. Ava is a dropout art student from a neighboring college. Ava and Samantha hate the Bunnies. When Samantha falls into the trap of the Bunnies, Ava rescues her. Towards the novel's end, readers discover that Ava is an imaginary friend Samantha created because of her loneliness.
The Bunnies (Caroline, Eleanor, Kira, and Victoria)
The Bunnies are the antagonists in the novel. The Bunnies conduct bizarre rituals, which involve converting rabbits into hybrid men. They use these to manipulate other women. At last, the Bunnies manage to recruit Samantha into their circles, and they use her to capture rabbits they use to convert into hybrid men.
Rob Valencia
Rob Valencia is Samantha's high school boyfriend. When the Bunnies ask Samantha to tell them a story, she remembers her love escapades with Rob and assures them that she deeply misses him.
Samantha’s parents

Max
Max is the hybrid man Samantha creates during the bizarre ritual. Later, Samantha realizes that Maxi is dating Ava and gets annoyed. When Samantha goes to the bond, he finds Max holding a dead swan symbolizing Ava.
