Discussion of Utopian Short Stories

Objective:

Identify the morally or practically problematic elements of utopian ideas.

Structure:

In previous class sessions and for homework, students have been working on their own utopian short stories or short films. As this work continues, have students prepare brief synopses of their utopias, which they can use to explain the key points of their worlds to the class.
