Objective:
To understand John's use of Shakespearean quotation.

Structure:
Have students research the many quotations that John utilizes, if they have not done so already. Students should then form small groups, each of which may choose a different line to analyze. Each group must identify the play from which the quotation is drawn, and explain the meaning of the quote in the context of the play as well as in the context of the book.
