peristrophist

One who engages the words of their opponent during an argument in a way that transforms the meaning of the words to support their own viewpoint.

callow

Immature and inexperienced in a wide-eyed innocent sort of way

avatar

A virtual or disconnected stand-in for another entity.

treacherous

Unfaithful, dishonest and traitorous in character or action.

epigram

A short, usually witty, remark that offers a philosophical commentary.

capacious

Expansively spacious.

ramshackle

Run-down and decrepit.

harangue

An impassionate speech critical in nature usually directed toward a specific person or about a specific topic.

solipsism

The belief that everything in the world is the creation of one’s own mind.

paganism

Descriptive of any organized religious belief system endemic to an indigenous populace.

necromancy

A type of sorcery or witchcraft of other occult practice revolving around the concept of reanimating the dead.

crenellation

A defensive architectural fortification consisting of walls with regularly spaced openings through which offensive engagement can be made.

annexation

The legal incorporation of one territory into the domain of another

quadrant

A division of a section of land into four equal relatively equal parcels.

unionist

Any supporter or advocate of any legally recognized and authorized union of people sharing a common purpose or goal or one who is viewed as such by opponents of that union

turbulence

A literal or metaphorical condition resembling a storm or tempest

vehemence

A feeling of extreme anger directed toward another

ambulatory

Capable of moving under one’s own power

sanctioned

Conferred with a limited authority by an official governing body

lithesome

Characterizing one who is notably limber, flexible, slender and fit
