Foreshadowing

Students will understand foreshadowing and identify elements of it within the novel.

Structure:
Foreshadowing is when an author drops hints or clues for future plot events. It does not have to be overt; in fact, foreshadowing is often so subtle the audience may not notice it until the later event actually occurs.
