Objective:

Students will be able to identify and critically discuss the point of view and the author's writing style.

Structure:

Explain to students that they are going to write a letter from the point of view of a character in the story.

To start, discuss Point of View as a class. Use the Introduction to the Novel section of this guide to help scaffold conversation, and consider having students use various online resources to do some basic research.
