Lizzie is an observant librarian with many obligations. She has a son named Eli with her husband Ben. Li is young and Lizzie has to take care of him. Besides, she is obliged to take care of her brother, Henry, who is a drug-addict. Despite many obligations, she is offered a job by Sylvia to run a podcast. The podcast focuses on social and political issues. The overwhelming responsibilities compel Lizzie to attend meditation classes. When Henry and her wife, Catherine, get a child, Lizzie is worried that her brother may get back to drugs. As a result, she spends more time with him.
