The Princess and the Poacher
This is the story of Hengist, the main protagonist in the narrative. Hengist is a young man who bears no desire to join his father’s trade of basket weaving; instead, he wants to become a ladies' man. His desires nothing more than to be in the same bed with some of the most beautiful maidens in the kingdom. Unfortunately, Hengist has undesirable looks and his body is deformed hence none of the maidens give him a second look.
When Hengist realizes that he will never fall in favor of any maiden, he decides to focus his energy on poaching. On a rare occasion, Hengist meets the princess of the kingdom strolling in the woods. He is hesitant to talk to her but desires nothing more than to hold her in his arms. He settles on spying on her. Not long after, a rampaging boar attacks the princess and Hengist rescues her. The king gets word of this heroic act and is determined to wed his daughter to her hero despite his looks.
Princess Mammalia
This is the story of a young princess who wakes up on the day of her seventeenth birthday only to realize that she has become the most beautiful woman in her kingdom. Mammalia quickly realizes that her beauty comes with a lot of power. All the men in the kingdom, excluding her father, are drooling over her beauty.
As her beauty becomes more radiant by the day, the control it has on men starts corrupting her mind. Mammalia begins to desire more power over the men, she even plots to kill her father, so she could take over as ruler. However, her father is a step ahead, and realizing his daughter’s corrupt schemes, the king takes away the source of her power, her beauty.
