    Practicing Reading Aloud

    Objective:

    Students will practice reading aloud to help them understand the play.

    CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.11-12.1; CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.11-12.4

    Structure:

    One of the most difficult parts about teaching Shakespeare is learning how to read him, both as a teacher and as a student. One of the best ways to help students who are struggling is to have students read difficult passages aloud and discuss with the class what the passages mean.
