Daniel Kahneman

Kahneman has been a Nobel Prize in Economics winner. He bases his book on recent ‘psychological discoveries’ regarding the human mind and brain. His conclusions in the text are based on research conducted by himself and other credible personas.

Eckhard Hess

A psychologist credited with “describing the pupil of the eye as a window to the soul.” His article regarding the pupil was published in Scientific American.

Mihaly Csikszentmihaly

A psychologist who hypothesized the concept "flow." He explains that flow is characterized by "a state of effortless concentration so deep that they lose their sense of time, of themselves, of their problems." Flow occurs due to effortless attention.

Roy Baumeister

A psychologist who has been involved in experiments demonstrating "all variants of voluntary effort-cognitive, emotional, or physical-draw at least partly on a shared pool of mental energy." His experiments show the impact of mental effort and self-control.

Walter Mischel

He spearheaded a psychological experiment that “exposed four-year-old children to a cruel dilemma.” The dilemma involved rewards, ‘one Oreo and two cookies,’ that required time to endured extreme conditions for 15 minutes. The experiment intended to test the children’s attention and its effect on cognitive tasks.
