Dorothy's companions never really felt at home before. There was always some element of unhappiness that kept them from fully embracing who they were and feeling comfortable with themselves, and by extension, their surroundings. Through their journeys to help Dorothy get back to the place she knows is her home, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Lion have all found their own homes, where they can truly feel valued for who they are.
