Khalid Farah
Khalid is a former builder, who works with The White Helmets. He has a wife and a young daughter, who he hopes will grow up in a peaceful country.

Abu Omar
Abu is a former blacksmith and works for The White Helmets rescuing civilians after bomb attacks. He lives with his mother and children, looking after them whilst also working for The White Helmets.
Mohammed Farah
A third volunteer for The White Helmets, who had previously fought for the opposition. He has a son who is almost two years old.
Mahmoud Ibildi
"The miracle baby" found in the rubble in Aleppo after a bomb attack in 2014. The volunteers searched for the baby night and day after hearing him crying.
Raed Saleh
Raed is the leader of The White Helmets and is seen at their training camp.
