Ashton Gray
Seventeen years old, Ashton is the daughter of a preacher. She's also a churchgoer, but Ashton lives a pretentious life. Her boyfriend Sawyer is famous in town as a good guy who goes to church and helps others. Ashton likes Sawyer but doesn't feel a connection with him. On a summer vacation, Ashton meets Beau, Sawyer's cousin, and her friend. She was not on speaking terms with him after being Sawyer's girlfriend. Ashton soon realizes that she's attracted to Beau, the bad guy.

Sawyer is a perfect guy, loved by all. He loves his girlfriend Ashton, who’s also perfect like him. He thinks his girlfriend likes him enough to marry him, so he never asks what Ashton wants. Sawyer is close to his cousin Beau, who is totally the opposite of him. He is also aware of Beau liking Ashton.
Beau Vincent
Beau is a bad boy, loved by all the girls in college. Beau grew up with Sawyer and Ashton, and he was close with Ashton. Beau has always liked Ashton, but when Ashton chooses Sawyer as her boyfriend, he backs up. First, he tries to stay away from Ashton but Soon realizes that she's the only one he ever loved.
Lana
Lana is Ashton's cousin. She loves Ashton, but her mother's constant comparison with Ashton makes her less confident. She secretly likes Sawyer because he used to protect her from Beau and Ashton's pranks.
Nicole
Nicole is Beau’s girlfriend and the rival of Ashton. She doesn’t like Ashton because of her close relationship with the Vincent brothers. Sawyer and Nicole were in a relationship in the high school.
