The Sun Also Rises Lesson Plan

If all of the elements of this lesson plan are employed, students will develop the following powers, skills, and understanding:

   Students will examine facets of Spanish culture, specifically with regard to bull fighting.

   Students will explore themes of masculinity and gender norms, and how Hemingway plays into and resists them.
