Noah Nowicki
Noah Nowicki is the protagonist of the story and one of the Action Scouts. Like any other boy, he likes adventures, exploring and games. He also is a very good brother, for he doesn’t give up on his sister and continues searching even when the adults give up.
Megan Nowicki
Megan Nowicki is Noah’s sister. Her curiosity can easily cause a lot of troubles, but apart from this, she is a very kind and pleasant young lady. Just like her brother, she also loves her family dearly.
Ella Jones
Ella Jones is one of Noah’s best friends and his fellow Action Scout. This girl is definitely not a goodie two shoes. Besides being confident and brave, she is also famous for her sharp tongue.
Richie Reynolds
Richie Reynolds is Noah’s and Ella’s friend and their fellow Action Scout. This boy is the most practical one out of the whole group. Although he is not as bold as Ella, Richie is definitely more diligent student. He also likes light up shoes.
Mr. Tall Tail
Mr. Tall Tail is a langur. He is one of those numerous animals, which help Noah to save his sister.
Charlie Red
Charlie Red is one of the antagonists of the story. He is a zoo guard and an extremely suspicious man, who does everything possible to prevent the Action Scouts from entering the Inside of the Zoo.
Tank
Tank or Mr. Pangbourne is also one of the zoo guards. Unlike Charlie, Tank helps Noah a lot.
Podgy
Podgy is a penguin, which helps Noah to save his sister.
Mr. Darby
Mr. Darby is the member of the Secret Society and one of the keepers of the zoo.
Blizzard
Blizzard is a polar bear, who helps Noah and others to find Megan.
Marlo
Marlo is a bird, who brings Noah the first extract from Megan’s diary.
Frederick Jackson
Frederick Jackson is Mr. Jackson’s son. His love for animals and nature inspired his father to create the zoo.
Mr. Jackson
Mr. Jackson is a founder of the Clarksville City Zoo.
Mr. DeGraff
Mr. DeGraff is a mysterious man, who comes to Mr. Jackson to tell him there is a way to enlarge the zoo with the help of magic. The inhabitants of The Secret Zoo know him as The Shadowist. Very few people believe that he exists.
Bhanu Lakshman
Bhanu Lakshman is a magician. Due to his skills, the Clarksville City Zoo is an unusual place with the Inside and the Outside worlds.
Sasquatches
Sasquatches or "bigfeet" are evil creatures, beings which caused a lot of destruction in the Clarksville City Zoo and kidnapped Megan.
