Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of The Secret History, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Day #1

  • "Creating the Myth: Tartt's Use of Descriptive & Figurative Language" - Students will likely need computers for research in this activity, either in small groups or individually.
  • "Secrets & Lies: Character Portraits in The Secret History" - Each small group will need at least one computer with internet access to work on the collaborative documents/portraits they're creating together.
