The Path of Daggers Irony

The Path of Daggers Irony

The illogicality of Perrin Aybara

Perrin is determined to make the right steps in the battle and ensure that his objectives are attained as planned. When he attempts to end the Prophet of the Dragon's rise, he accidentally saves Queen Morgase of Andor. Therefore, Perrin is forced to take an oath with the Ghealdan's Queen. Consequently, Perrin does the opposite of his expectations, and now he must dance to the tune of his rivals.

The satire of the Rand

Rand al'Thor is depicted as a hero and a powerful character. The reader expects to see Rand victorious in most of his battles, but the contrary is the order of the day. For instance, when Rand attempts to discontinue the Seachan invasion, he is attacked and defeated by Corlan, and the trend continues. The reader learns that Rand relies on the strength of the magic sword he holds, but it keeps on failing him.

The irony of fantasy

The paradox of fantasy is related to the actions of the Dark One, who used his powers to introduce heat waves that led to global warming. The novel was written many years ago when the concept of climate change had not been conceptualized. Ironically, the fantasy of climate change has become a reality in the contemporary world, and it has become a nightmare that has not been solved yet.
