The No-Guitar Blues Imagery

The No-Guitar Blues Imagery

Inspiration imagery

Fausto’s aspiration to become a guitar player is motivated by the Los Lobos group, whose shows are shown on television. After watching the music show, Fausto is convinced that his future career is to play guitar, and he illustrates this using sight imagery. Fausto says, “The moment Fausto saw the group, Los Lobos, on 'American Bandstand,' he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life-play guitar. His eyes grew large with excitement as Los Lobos ground out a song while teenagers bounced off each other to the crowded dance floor."

The imagery of the dog

A guitar determines to Fausto, but his parents are poor, and they do not have the cash to buy him one. Fausto is trying to do manual jobs, but he cannot save enough to buy a guitar. When he notices a stranded do, Fausto checks its address and decides to take it its owners and demand payment. However, he wants to lie that it got lost so that he can be paid to enable him to purchase a guitar. The author uses sight imagery to describe Fausto's reaction when he saw them do. The author writes, "This dog looked like he belonged to rich people. Fausto cleaned his juice-sticky hands on his pants and got to his feet. The light in his head grew brighter. It just might work. He called the dog, patted its muscular back, and bent down to check the license.”

Smell imagery

When Fausto gets to the dog's owners' new house, he is shocked by what he sees. The description of the house and the sweet aroma of the warm bread depict sight imagery and smell imagery. “Fausto didn't say anything. He looked around, amazed by this house's shiny furniture and television as large as the front window at home. Warm bread smells filled the air, and music full of soft tinkling floated in from another room.”
