In this activity, students will be creating a version of the newspaper from Chapter 11, The Virginian.

As a class, brainstorm the types of topics that are commonly found in a newspaper. Examples include: local current events, national news, worldwide news, sports, entertainment, a personal profile/spotlight, and advice columns.
