The Lion and the Jewel Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of The Lion and the Jewel, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

On Day 1, the "Life of Soyinka" activity requires internet research, as does the "Yoruba" activity on Day 3.

The writing activities on Days 1 and 2 make use of online publishing and document sharing.

Day 4's "Set and Costume Vision Boards" activity requires Pinterest or a similar platform.
