    Sidi likes the idea of having power over the Bale. She knows his secret, and she thinks that she's capable of mocking him without him wielding his usual power over her. She sees the Bale as a target for mockery, and she's excited to feel some kind of triumph over him. In addition, she sees herself as more clever than the Bale, whether or not that is actually true.
