    How would you describe Sherlock’s character?

    Sherlock’s character is most apparent in the opening scene before he and Watson are preoccupied with Henry’s mystery. It is apparent that Sherlock is arrogant and a show-off. He also has an addictive personality. He chases a high. Sometimes that desire for a high is sated by having a case. When he does not have a case, he frantically searches for his other addiction, cigarettes. Sherlock speaks quickly and takes pleasure in mystifying people with his deductions. He can also come across as rude and abrasive.
