Why doesn't Anna want Frontiers of War to be adapted into a film?
Anna clearly feels some distaste for the commercialism of the film and television industries and the ways that they evade real issues and real emotions. In short, she fears that the film industry will make a film that's too sentimental, but perhaps more than that—her deepest fear may be that the film will be adapted accurately, since she feels such distaste for the tone of the novel she wrote.
